OTHER STUFF

Computer networking is becoming more necessary in homes and businesses. In days past having a modem and phone line was adequate for most businesses, but not any longer. With the advent of the internet, networks have become a necessity, much the same as water and electricity.

We strive to provide "future proof" networks by installing cabling that not only meets your current needs, but is also capable of supporting your faster future networking needs. Depending on your requirements we my recommend installing flexible conduit so that even faster media can be installed in the future as needed.

We carry liability insurance and are proud that we have never filed a claim.

Here are a few of the network installations we completed in the Central Texas area

WIFI

Here is a completely wireless WIFI installation located 16 miles outside of Lockhart. The upper antenna is a back haul link to a wireless internet service provider about 19 miles away. There are two other radios on the mast, near the bottom. One has an antenna that distributes WiFi access to all RV park residents. There is also a radio with a directional antenna pointed at the owner's home, about 3 miles away. The mast is over 40 feet tall. This installation features lightning protection on each of the cables that enter the building, as well as a ground rod to ground the mast and lightning protectors. An Uninterruptible power Supply also provides internet service even in the event of a power outage.

NETWORKING

This is the main equipment rack in a furniture manufacturing company. The patch panel for all the network jacks, internet switches and DSL modem/wireless access point are located in this rack. An Uninterruptible power Supply also provides internet and phone system power, even in the event of a power outage. At a later date a server will be installed in this rack and the UPS has been sized to support it also.
