Historically, business phone systems have been mainly proprietary systems which require factory-controlled programming. The TalkSwitch line of telephone PBX systems do not require the services of a proprietary programmer. If you desire to program the PBX yourself, you can, or we can take care of the programming for you. We can train you to do program the entire PBX, or do your own changes.
This is the main equipment rack in a furniture manufacturing company. Below the patch panel, and above the network switches and DSL modem/wireless access point are the two PBX modules that make up an 8 trunk, 16 phone system. An Uninterruptible power Supply also provides internet and phone service even in the event of a power outage. If the UPS fails while power is off, two of the phones are automatically connected directly to phone lines. 1 to16 C.O. lines (trunks) 1 to 32 conventional extensions 1 to 32 VoIP extensions 0 to 4 call directors (up to 5 options each) Individual and system-wide voicemail boxes Call plans based on time of day, day of week, holiday Supports standard and specialized phones Off-site call transfers Paging when voicemail is received Conference calling Internal/External music on Hold Overhead Paging (with external amplifier)
We use TalkSwitch PBX equipment in our installations, but we can provide larger systems are available from other manufacturers. VoIP phone systems are also available, though we have not used any at this time.
